NOVEMBER 9 – 15, 2026
Morning practice in the jungle, ocean air by sunset, long unplanned afternoons, and nights that stretch just a little longer than expected.
There’s no packed schedule, no pressure to make it “worth it.”
You don’t go looking for anything… and still end up finding something.
Ati K.

I first came to Bali over a decade ago, looking for a place to spend my winters away from the cold NYC. What I found was a lot more than that… or maybe it found me.
That’s the thing about Bali. It gives you what you need, not always in the moment, but later, when it starts to make sense. There’s a quiet kind of magic here. You don’t really see it if you’re trying too hard. It shows up when you slow down, let go of expectations, and just move with the rhythm of the days, the nature, the people, the culture.
This will be our fourth retreat here, and people keep coming back. Maybe it’s Bali, maybe it’s the way we experience it together, I don’t know. But there’s something about being here that stays with you.
Yes, it’s a tropical island. Beautiful, spiritual, full of incredible food and places to see. You can find that in a lot of places.
But some things… you don’t go looking for them.
They find you here.
Come experience it with us.
With love,
Katya
"Sound of Om Retreat has a rippling effect of spending time with good friends. You feel relaxed, you have a pep in your step, and you find that you have the courage to “Be”. My experience opened my heart to love and appreciate the Balinese culture. The land is beautiful, the food is delicious, and the people are creative craftsmen. The retreat is a path where you can lead your own trail. It’s a beautiful retreat that you will want to experience again and again."
"What a wonderful week with many new experiences and impressions! From the nicest accommodation to great cuisine, we went shopping at the local market for a cooking class, various forms of yoga and wellness, extraordinary trips to temples and waterfalls in company of a professional photographer – all was there. But the best thing was our group, in which we had a lot of fun and exchanges. Katya did a wonderful job organizing this and giving us so much advice for the visa, shopping, dining, silver classes etc. For me this week was the perfect start to my two-month trip to Indonesia and I highly recommend to share this unique experience with Katya and her lovely Balinese crew!"
"This was the first ever Yoga retreat I have joined. And I must admit, I had been a little apprehensive at first in regards to a few activities she had planned. But right from the start Katya made sure no one ever felt obliged to do anything they didn't feel like doing. Every day was different, and we shared so many amazing experiences. My favorite one: watching the sunrise as a group from an astonishing lookout point. It was magical!
Besides these experiences, I can say I have made new friends. The dynamic in our group was so good and I felt comfortable being around all the other ladies. Thank you, Katya, for bringing us together and giving us these unforgettable moments!"
"For my birthday this year, the year where I really started creating the life of my dreams, I gifted myself an experience of a lifetime— a yoga/wellness retreat in beautiful Bali with the most incredible group of powerful women from different parts of the world, in different stages of life, with a shared interest in growth and adventure.
As a group, we moved, released, cooked, ate, climbed, relaxed, hugged, laughed, and connected. For me, I learned to listen to my instincts, trust myself, share my voice, take up space, prioritize my wants and needs, and show up for that inner child who is curious, playful, excited, and loving. I am proud of myself for going out of my comfort zone and choosing growth and exploration. Throughout this experience, I felt accepted, empowered, supported, inspired, and loved.
I am beyond grateful for finding Sound of Om Yoga's flyer three months ago, making the value-based decision to go on this magical journey the week leading up to my birthday, and creating memories that I will cherish for life. The trip may have ended, but each ending is a wonderful beginning of something new (wise words of Katya). Thank you for bringing us together and being the most incredible host.
Bali, I miss you already and I’ll see you again one day."
"It was my first trip to Bali as well as traveling that far anywhere in the world from US. I didn’t approach it like a vacation but a personal growth experience. I felt very comfortable because Katya had lived there for a period and it showed.
The entire stay was very well organized in that we never felt rushed but also nothing dragged. The timing was excellent. I had never done something like that so one of my concerns was group dynamics with strangers, but I was amazed at how well everyone got along and how effortless it felt to be with everyone.
I personally enjoyed most getting to see local culture/areas/food the most, but it was balanced with some of the more popular things to do, so I felt I got full exposure to all sides of Bali which was fantastic.
There were also really great times where we were provoked to go inward and do a little self- discovery. It was always very easy going, gentle, and felt very natural without being over the top or excessive. The teaches/facilitators she introduced us to in private group setting were all extremely experienced and knowledgeable.
I think my biggest takeaway is how balanced and safe it felt throughout. I felt we were all very present while still experiencing some of the amazing/exciting features of Bali."

Tucked into the jungle, the hotel feels quiet and expansive at the same time. You wake up to green in every direction, fall asleep to the sounds of nature, and have an incredible restaurant right on site, the kind of place you’ll actually look forward to every meal.

Open-air shalas, some with beautiful, thoughtful architecture that blends into the landscape, spaces that feel as good as they look. Surrounded by jungle or ocean, practice naturally deepens without forcing anything.

Cliffs, rice fields, jungle paths, volcanoes in the distance, and wide open ocean. The kind of views that make you stop for a second, not for a photo, just to take it in.

Fresh, simple, and full of flavor. Shared meals, local spots, and a hands-on cooking class on a farm where you’ll learn how it all comes together. Food becomes part of the experience, not just something in between.

Acupuncture, massage, and time to actually take care of yourself. Nothing rushed, just space for your body to soften and your system to settle.

Set on top of a hill with wide, open views, this space is made for stillness. There’s a sauna, quiet corners to sit, and a no-phone policy that helps you fully disconnect. It’s simple, intentional, and feels a world away from everything else.

Time by the ocean, on the cliffs and down by the water. Salt air, open space, and the feeling of not needing to be anywhere else.

With over 15 years of practice and more than 1,000 hours of training (E-RYT 200, RYT 500, YACEP), my work is rooted in Ashtanga and Dharma Yoga. My path has included studying with Sri Dharma Mittra and continuing practice at the Dharma Yoga Center NYC, while building Sound of Om in Jersey City as a space for steady, consistent practice and community.
Bali holds a special place in my life. It reflects a different way of living, one that is slower, more intentional, and deeply connected to ritual and nature. In my experience, it meets you exactly where you are and gives you what you need, even if it’s not what you expected.
These retreats are not about doing more. They are about stepping out of routine and entering a different rhythm. Through daily practice, time in nature, and shared moments, space begins to open. My intention is to support the body, steady the mind, and create space to reconnect with what’s already within.
I’m really excited for you to experience this for yourself, and to see what Bali reveals for you.
