Our 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training at Sound of Om is designed for dedicated students ready to dive deeply into the study and teaching of yoga. This is not a retreat—it’s an intensive program that requires commitment, focus, and a genuine willingness to grow.
Step 1 – Secure Your Spot
Reserve your place by submitting a short application and paying the deposit. Spots are intentionally limited to maintain personalized level of instruction and meaningful connections.
Step 2 – Complete Your Enrollment
We’ll confirm your acceptance and send registration details, payment options, and required agreements.
Step 3 – Prepare for Your Journey
You’ll receive a welcome packet with pre-training readings, self-practice guidance, and details about the training structure and schedule.
Attendance is required for all training sessions to ensure you meet the training standards and gain the necessary teaching skills. If you miss a class, you must notify the lead trainer in advance and arrange makeup work, which may include attending additional classes at Sound of Om, completing written assignments, or scheduling a private session. Up to 12 hours of missed time can be made up this way; missing more than 12 hours may require joining a future training to complete certification.

He completed residency in neurology at NYU, Bellevue, and Manhattan VA, serving as chief resident, and a clinical fellowship in neurophysiology at Weill-Cornell School of Me

In 2011, Lydia completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training and Restorative yoga training at OM Yoga Center under the mentorship of Cyndi Lee, Frank Mauro and Joe Miller. In 2017, She completed 300-hour Yoga Teacher Training with Flannary Foster and studied Ashtanga Mysore with Amy Priya in Brooklyn, New York. In 2019 Lydia studied with Juliana Mitchell and received her prenatal yoga teacher certification at Sacred Sound Yoga. She remains ever grateful for all her teachers’ compassion, knowledge and love.
Jen is a scientist, humanitarian, yoga practitioner and teacher. Jen approaches yoga much like an experiment, and encourages everyone to investigate the potential of their mind-body-spirit connection. She values autonomy over authority and strives to empower individuals to develop a compassionate, intuitive and exploratory yoga practice.

Jen is a student above all else and is grateful for her teachers and mentors, namely Sri Dharma Mittra, David Kyle, and Nathania Stambouli, as well as all those of the Ashtanga and Dharma Yoga lineages, past and present. She has completed over 1200 hours of training and is a certified Dharma Yoga and Rocket Yoga Teacher.
